Does anyone have suggestions, pictures, or ideas for a family altar? We are going to take this project on as a family during Lent to complete for Easter. We have ideas, but I would love to hear or see what other have done!

Here are some pictures of our family Feast Day table throughout the various seasons. The table is a cheap pine table. It was unfinished when we bought it. I sewed the skirt that goes around it. It hides materials not being used. I wish we had $$ for a pretty table, but for now this is it. You can use a cedar chest, shelf on an existing bookcase, small inexpensive bookcase, etc. We have been using ours for years, so we have accumulated a number of statues, art prints, holy reminders for use. Start small with a few basics for Lent maybe. And try to add one more new thing for each liturgical season of the year. A good set of holy cards helps to add reminders of the Saint's feasts.
