Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Kathleenmom posted these adorable dolls has anyone made them this year? I am getting so frustrated when I go to the craft store to find what I need for this project. The ball/knobs that look like they would fit on the clothes pins are huge! Is that how they are suppose to be?

I am beginning to compare my trips to the craft store to dh trips to the hardware store when he is working on a project .

I may just order all the parts online. I missed out on the kits for sale at the Posie is Cozy blog. They are so cute! I am having friends over on Santa Lucia and want to make them with them...so I am feeling desperate. ( I might have made my coffee a little strong this morning also)

Mary Chris,

I'm sorry!!

Just FYI -- I buy my clothespin dolls in a kit at AC Moore (by nicolecrafts.com -- they don't sell them online) FYI though, My sil just went to the Manassas AC Moore and they were sold out of the kits that I get there, though.

Michael's does carry a kit with two options for heads - and one of them is too big. The people look like they have super heads.

I found this. It doesn't help my doll situation but it looks fun!

You can buy wooden dolls that are about 3 inches tall. They only have a head and body. They might work.
