Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I am thinking of buying one but haven't a clue as to what kind. I am not a novice but perhaps just an semi-advanced beginner. I want quality but under $100 (does that even exist?).
Any suggestions on brands? Are there any online sites that are good to look at for purchasing? Any other helpful hints? Thanks!

In His Mercy,
Karen

Not to be discouraging but I think you'll be hard pressed to find anything but a toy machine for that price - you might want to check ebay for a used machine.

If you are into getting up early the day after Thanksgiving from 5-11 am Walmart has a 22 stitch Brother on sale for $54. Sorry I do not know anything else about the machine I have only used Singer so far. If you could go to about $200 you can usually get some good deals on sales. Happy stitchin' Annie
