Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Anyone have some sort of quick hardening icing recipe?

My dd is doing a presentation on Ancient India and their way of life. She'd like to have the younger dc make a model of a house from then and she wanted to use graham crackers. So I was thinking this type of icing would work best in trying to hold it altogether. I used something like this icing a bazillon years ago to make a cross out of sugar cubes (don't ask...it went with a St. Anthony Mary Claret craft, he's from Cuba...hence the sugar!). Anyways, I can't find my old recipe.

Thanks!

I think what you need is called "Royal Icing", also the same "cement" or glue used for Gingerbread houses.

Since I don't know if you want to use eggs or meringue powder, I've given options. Basically it's such egg whites (or meringue powder), sugar and water.
