Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

At my blog
mavmamadotblogspotdotcom
I have posted pictures of a few Christmas presents I have finished this last week or so. My goal is to have all of my presents made/bought by November 1st, so we can take them when we travel back to Iowa early in the month. Also, I really, really want this to be the year that I succeed with having December freed up to make memories and fun with the kids instead of shopping.

What are you making?

Liz,

The presents on your blog look great! I love the idea of the advent calendar ... and the purse is a beauty too!

Oh Liz - those look great!! I would love to know if you made up that Advent calendar or if you had a pattern and would share where you got it.

So sad, I haven't even thought about what we'll make this year!!! You have inspired me to get busy . . . if I could just get finished canning up the garden.

Thanks for sharing
Margot

The purse pattern (the wild one) is from Lazy Girl Patterns- I think it is th Towne Purse.

The Advent calendar was a "cheater" panel. Pre-printed, and then just cut and quilted. The little ornaments were fused to felt, then cut out. I bought it in Iowa last year, and didn't get it finished, so really, while it looks early this year, it's actually 11 months late LOL!

Mary, thanks for linking--I just CANNOT get that!
