Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I am trying to make my sister a sling using the Elizabeth Lee sling pattern. I made a bunch of them a few years ago but right now the pattern is in storage. What I can't remember is how the pillowed/ring end starts. How to make the pillow pocket?   Does that make sense? Thanks for any help I have left myself with a short time to do it in Annie

Annie,

I don't have the ELD sling pattern so I'm not sure what you mean but here are some links that might be helpful:

Jan's instructions at sleepingbaby.net are really great!

I also like www.slingmemommy.com Her gathered shoulder style is SO easy to make and really comfy. I find the unpadded styles more comfortable and easier to make than the padded ones.

I would also recommend this site www.slingrings.com for aluminum rings. All of her rings are weight tested for use as a baby carrier, and they come in nice colors as well.

Sorry I can't help with your specific pattern question.
