I just checked this book at from our library "Mothers and Daughters at Home: Craft projects" by Charlotte Lyons. What a lovely book. It is such a delightful book to read plus lots of great projects to do. She has projects that can be done in an hour to projects that can take a day or more.

Just thought I would share a sweet resource I stumbled upon!

Y'know, I got this one from the library and it is certainly beautiful -- I especially liked the papier-mache doll house (both topics I was just discussing with Maggie). Problem is that I find it a bit too pretty with fairly basic/standard projects. Alice, I think that's why I like your "Sewing with St. Anne" -- it has such unique simple projects!
