Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Besides our wonderful 4 Real bloggers'!

I know this next baby must definitely be a boy, because with all of the girls' pregnancies I was a total craft dropout. Now I can't seem to get enough!

I'm looking for blogs I can peruse for inspiration - sewing, knitting/crocheting, anything like that. I notice many of you posting about them on your blogs, so who are your favorites?

(editing because I'm a doofus )

Other than mine for knitting, Michele's for sewing, Crafty in Coffeeland, House Wren Studio, Kiddley, One Hour Craft and Simple Sparrow are the ones I check everyday ...

Big blush! I'm so sorry Mary, I knew I was missing some 4 Realers...I didn't mean to sound exclusive! I had just been on Michele's site to see the little shoes...    I hope everyone here who has a crafty blog will accept my apologies -I've edited my first post now. (and thanks Mary for the other links! )

Well I second and third Mary's and Michele's, but one of my favorites if you like to read is knit the classics this is such fun. You read through the classics and knit a project to go with the book. They are staring a new book soon if anyone is interested!

You've got the last part right, for sure!

Thank you everyone for these great links. I'm putting them on my blog sidebar - I'm sure I'll find something cute for me AND the girls to do today!

Amy, I love Portabellopixie. She makes the most amazingly over the top girly clothes. I love the way she combines fabrics and all the little details she includes. Enjoy!

I visit Cottage Blessings and Our Domestic Church for "crafty" inspiration. I think everyone else covered my other faves, including this Vintage Chica, One Hour Craft and a Number of things. Oh I don't think I saw scrumdillydo on your lists.

I have to second house on hill road - its one of my latest favorites. this vintage chica, for more stuff like portabellopixie, I'd recommend bits and pieces of a happy life. stunning photography and she's part of the sewing group that sews those adorable - boutique/couture - girls clothes. A very simple sewing blog I enjoy is The Sky is Pink. She has six children and, apart from me being amazed at what she accomplishes, its really very simple and practical - though no tutorials.

eta: i forgot. the scent of water is a new favorite of mine, too.
