Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

i know they are traditionally for little girls but dd really likes those cross-back pinafore/smock things

and she wants bloomers instead of bike shorts for under her dresses.

any one have directions/pictures of how to make them?

i cant find any patterns for her size.

And here's another for bloomers:

Don't know if this one goes large enough for her, though...

And if you check out your local Hancocks and JoAnns fabric stores, you can sometimes get the patterns for $.99 each....

Sense & Sensibility have a beautiful pattern for little girl’s pinafore and pantaloons! I haven't tried this one, but I have used others and they are very high quality and well thought out....you won't be disappointed. The creator of this patter is available for help if needed too!

Here is the link.

I have the Sense and Sensability pattern myself but haven't made it either. Folkwear also has some great patterns also; I have the child's pinafore pattern on my sewing table, getting ready to try it!
