Although I'm no spring chicken, I refuse to call it arthritis so let's just say it's mous-itis...from my computer mouse. Although it feels like arthritis in my pinkie finger joint and that side of my palm, it's not really around my wrist like carpal tunnel. ? Any suggestions? Should I upgrade to a better, ergodynamic (or whatever the word is) mouse. I just can't seem to hold my hand in the correct position or may be it's just there tooo.long! Is that a hint I should get off the computer?

My DH had one of those wrist braces and I can def. tell how it lifts my hand off the desk instead of letting it "slouch" while I click away.

Ideas, suggestions?

Teach yourself to LET GO OF THE MOUSE.. anytime you're not actually using it.. it's amazing how often I just would leave my hand sitting there when i could easily lift my hand, wiggle my fingers etc. It doesn't take long, just attention, to change the habit and it really helps.
