Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Does anybody else have this? I've had it for about 10 yrs. I don't have psoriasis anywhere else except for my fingernails. I haven't tried any of the meds drs. prescribe since I've either been pregnant or nursing and really they aren't that effective from what I've read. My nails have ridges, pitting and also lift away from the nailbed. I paint them to cover them up, they don't look very pretty. I've considered gel nails but feel like that may be too vain. Are there any good natural things anyone else has tried that has helped? I've heard tea tree oil, aloe vera, or glycerin can help?

The only thing that has worked for me is clobetosol (definitely spelled wrong) liquid. It gets down under the nail and fixes it. I used it VERY sparingly while nursing or pregnant. Estee Lauder used to make a nail polish that would fill in the bumps and waves in my nails. I am not sure if they make it anymore.

Is that something that is prescribed? I think when this first started happening I used that..not sure, but it was some sort of liquid. It seemed to work but once my nail detached again, the dermatologist said it was psoriasis and that I couldn't take anything until I was finished nursing or having babies. Maybe I should ask him about it again. Do your nails detach from the nail bed? Do you use this everyday?
