Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I'm just full of lovely conversation topics this morning!    This one isn't a question though, just an observation.
My babies always have cradle cap. I hate it. I don't use any of the harsh "cradle cap removers" or dandruff shampoo on their little heads, I just sort of do the best I can and wait until they outgrow it.
BUT! Guess what I discovered? When we found out that our 3yo absolutely could not have gluten I put him on a gf diet, but the rest of us did not because it's so expensive. As part of a Lenten fast, I went GF, both as a fast but also to support my 3yo who is starting to notice that his pizza looks different from everyone elses . I felt better and, the neat thing is, my 4 month old baby's cradle cap is almost completely gone.
I would have never dreamed there was a link to gluten. Just thought I'd pass that on!

My babies' cradle cap was always greatly reduced when I went off their allergens, particularly dairy... I wonder if I dropped gluten too whether it would have gone completely away?? It was always too much to give up wheat on top of all the other things they couldn't have so I never tried.
