My ds is currently wearing a size five shoe (he is eight).

In the store today I saw that in the kid's section the sizes went up to a six for boys. Over in the men's section, the sizes seemed to start at 7. Is a men's seven the continuation up from the youth 6?

Also, there was one pair of size 6 shoe for boys in the whole store, and those were soccer shoes. Is this a tough size to find? I feel like I am entering the wilderness of shoe sizes at this point . I know all you ladies with older boys have been here. Am I on the right track?

yes I believe children's sizes flow right into men's.. it's women's shoe sizes that get weird.

and yes that is a very hard size to find
