Our copays for insurance are going way up starting in January. I would like to start using some more homeopathic remedies. In your opinion, what book would you buy if you needed one go to book?

If you are already familiar with how homeopathy works, and are comfortable repertorizing your own symptoms to find the similimum that best suits the totality of your symptoms, then I would definitely recommend Miranda Castro's book The Complete Homeopathy Handbook. If you need some extra help with narrowing the field of suitable remedies, then ABC Homeopathy (website) is truly very helpful in this regard. And for the best comprehensive understanding of the principles of Homeopathy (and a very easy read, at that), I wholly recommend Tim Dooley's Homeopathy: Beyond Flat Earth Medicine.

I've been using homeopathy on my family (and my dog) for years now, and am very comfortable treating my family for acute illness or injury; however we have a Classical Homeopath (she is wonderful!) that we use for chronic conditions and more serious illness that I feel has moved beyond my abilities in understanding and repertorizing.

It's not homeopathy but "Prescription for Nutritional Healing" by Balch is wonderful for using foods and vitamins and herbs
