Does anyone know if you can get a prescription for Floradix?

 Thanks for any replies.

You don't need a prescription. You can buy it at a health food store. It is just an herbal supplement.

I just did a google search, and you can buy it from many places. It looks as though it comes in pills as well, but I have only ever taken the liquid. It tastes wonderful!

Many prayers for you, Pilgrim. I am glad you are taking care of yourself.

I ask if you can get a prescription because we can't really afford it right now, and prescription would be a lot cheaper for me.

 Thanks for the searching.

Clorophyll is really good for boosting iron, too. It might be cheaper than Floradix.

I'm sorry I misunderstood. I don't know. My doctor has prescribed iron supplements before, though, but that was after I had my first and I didn't know about floradix then to ask.

Floradix is crazy expensive - but if there is any possible way you can swing it, go for it. I hemorrhaged profusely during my miscarriage in December, and I went into the miscarriage anemic. Two weeks after the loss, my hemoglobin was back up to 14 with 2 doses of Floradix/day.

It will depend on your doc and your insurance. I do know that docs will prescribe otc things so insurance will cover them so..
