Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Does coffee affect you differently during different parts of your cycle?

I have been having an AM and PM cup of coffee for a long time now. The last three days they have been making me jumpy. My cycles are still figuring themselves out after Michael was born so I'm not sure where I am in this cycle. For example, yesterday I thought I was ovulating AND menstruating.    Anyway, pretty sure it was ovulating cuz of LOTS of peak type mucus. And because TCOYF says that in a long cycle you can have ovulatory spotting.

I gave all that info just to say that if I had to pinpoint where I am in this cycle I would say "ovulation" time and does coffee affect anyone else at that part in their cycle? TIA.

Caffeine definitely affects me more during fertile and pre-menstrual phases. I also find I am better off avoiding it all together when my fertility is returning after a little one. I'm don't even remember now what made me come to that decision, but it's habit now.
I can't provide any explanation of why it has an effect, but I definitely think it does.
