My sil found out she had a miscarriage last week...at about 8 weeks on. The doctors wanted her to have a D&C because they thought from some signs on the ultrasound it could have been a molar pregnancy. She had her D&C on Friday.

Since, over the weekend her bleeding was light. But yesterday her cramping and bleeding picked up...which has happened to me before after a D&C. BUT...she has been having knife-stabbing back pain for the past hour that her prescription med is not touching. Her dr. office has been in the wait and see mode.

Any advice?? Has this happened to anyone? She is very worried about the back pain (she can't sit or stand up straight and she is home with a 2yr old and she has no close family, her dh, my bro. will be home later from work, he is a radiologist and get away immediately).
