Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

We have yucky coughs with sore throats here. I made a pot of chicken noodle soup and gave them lemonade, lots of Vit C and am pushing water.
We are having a light school day and will probably pop a movie in soon.

What do you do for your children when they have colds, coughs, a sore throat or the flu?

My son really loves his Mother Earth Heartbeat pillow. It is filled with flax seeds and the "Breathe" herbal blend, so when we heat it in the microwave and put it on his chest, it really helps him. It also has a nice weight and feels good on his chest when all warmed up.

They love when food is brought to them on a special tray. I also freeze Go-Gurt for them to eat. Movies here too.

Praying you all get well soon..........we did that here last month. I do the same as everyone else. They love echinacea tea with honey....in "sippy cups" to drink in the living room.

Last year when all six were sick at the same time ......I brought a large mattress out to the living room where they slept day and night till they were well.........using the two couches as well. I put blankets underneath one end to lift it like a hospital bed.
