Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Well we broke down and have begun getting the children vaccinated but just with the very minimal amount . the dr. is asking us to also get the twix or what ever it is the hep a & b combo ?
I don't know much about this but had heard it is made up of blood product ? side effects ?
with travling much in our plans what do you think ?
we 've stayed in pretty primative conditions and never contacted it but primative healthy conditions not sick or infected areas .
insurance will cover part of it as one vax is free but the other not .
I don't like these kind of descions still left with much uncertinty . I'm just not sold on the whole vaccinated thing but felt called to do for the travel purposes .
I appreciate any help with this .
Much Love , Roxie

My oldest son is allergic to the Hep B vaccine. He had such a bad reaction of hives (they started three days after the shot and then lasted three days after the first shot and a month even with him on benadryl the whole time after the second shot) after the first two shots the doctor would not give him the third. Most people get this shot and are fine, but they assured me when he got this shot fifteen years ago that it was very rare for people to have a reaction and if they did it was just soreness or a slight fever. I don't know if they are better about telling people about possible reactions and I just wanted to make sure you knew that people do have reactions and to keep an eye on them after they get the shot.

Oh Roxie _ I hate deciding about these too!

My dh works in a hopital which puts us at higher risk and there have been outbreaks in our town which is a big college to it can happen any where.

so we ended up getting these recently.

We couldnt find anything morally objectional about this shot as far as that goes
and it side effects are supposed to be mild rare though as patty saie there are always exceptions.

Prayer as you decide. Maggie
