Has anyone had a problem with irritated and itching eyes - I have been treated for pink eye, tried allergy drops like Patanol, taken Zyrtec - nothing is working. I do not wear contact lenses. Does anyone have any recommendations? These eyes are driving me crazy. I have been to an opthamolgist - he gave me antibiotic and steroid drops for pink eye. I do not want to keep doing these. I have tried hot and cold compresses, breast milk and tea.

Thanks for any advice.

Similasan makes a homeopathic eye drop for allergy eyes. I can find mine at a large grocery store.

and if it is indeed allergies.. increasing your vitamin C intake can help reduce and/or eliminate allergy symptoms. I have found that I can control my seasonal allergies (hay fever) totally with vit. C.. usually 2000-4000mg per day (up to 5000 is ok for pregnancy according to "Prescription for Nutritional Healing" by Balch)
