Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Any hints, tips, things I should be looking out for?

This doesn't seem to be the "general tiredness" I remember but a full on "if I do one little chore (make lunch, take laundry out and hang) I am totally wiped out and need to sit and rest for a looong time". I'm napping most days (which doesn't seem to help), but night time sleep is choppy as is normal in late pregnancy! I'm a day shy of 35 weeks (but always deliver 1-3 weeks early if that makes any difference).

I did a search on this but found nothing - I am surprised!

God bless you all...

I don't have any solutions Amy, but I am RIGHT there with ya. I get wiped out so easy. I was so tired yesterday after one load of laundry, a few diaper changes and boiling a pound of pasta, that was it, seriously, that is ALL I did all day yesterday. I was so tired my husband came home early from work to help out and he brought dinner with him because just thinking of making so much as a sandwhich did me in!

Is your blood pressure within normal limits? That's the only thing I can think of offhand.

Oh, and also, iron level. Anemia will wipe you out fast.

I am sure you must have already had the glucose test for gest diabetes.

The final thing that occurs to me is thyroid levels.

Also, when I look online, it says intense fatigue is very common for late pregnancy because of hormonal shifts (I didn't know that or I would have given myself more of a free pass during my seven) but that again, anemia should be ruled out.

Ah, blood pressure - mine is usually low, and even lower in pregnancy. I had forgotten that that can contribute. There probably isn't a good way to make it go UP is there. You'd think with how aggrivated my girls are making me this cloudy/rainy week I would have at least a *normal* reading.
