I'm still working so DD attends a secular Montessori school. She's almost 3 and is now in the primary class (3 to 6 year olds). Her teacher recommended this book for home. They use it at school. Is anyone familiar with this book? Is there a similar Catholic type book? I see the Little Angel Readers on the OLV site but it says they are for older children. Seton has Kindergarten Phonics for Young Children but surely that's for an older child.

I really don't want to be 'pushy' about DD learning to read early but I think it would be good to have things about the letters and the sounds sitting out in our house.
