Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I wanted to share a sweet site that has some great articles. I loved her Designing Your Homeschool Curriculum article because she emphasizes choosing to teach Latin. I especially love her article on the four temperaments. Learning about the four temperaments was the best thing that I learned for teaching my little ones and I am so glad that I learned it when my oldest were little, too. This is great advice for those who are starting their homeschool journey and interested in early childhood learning.

Both articles can be found here:

You are so right that knowing your childs, as well as, your own temerment is very usefull in Homeschooling!!!

Mary Ann Budnic wrote a book called Raise Happy Children....Teach THem Virtues that goes into a lot of depth to determine your child's temperament and how to deal with their positive and negative aspects of that temperment from toddler to adulthood. It's a great read. In fact, my dh and I are re-reading it right now together.

Thanks Mary for bring this topic up!!!!

Thanks for the link Betsy.

I think that I've seen this book recommended before and can put it on my list. At my age, I might start reading it as my children have children.

:-)
