Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I've been using Montessori intensely the past 6 years, and have had all the same struggles as other home schooling moms who want to use Montessori - getting bogged down in all the details and so on. I am a "perfectionist", admittedly, and for my sanity I have been making summaries of all of my school plans, and I have uploaded them onto Lulu.com here because it was the cheapest place to get it nicely coil-bound with a cover. It is a "cute" little book that fits into my purse so I can carry it around and jot notes down in it.

Over the years I have also been very involved with promoting Montessori-at-home and have fielded a LOT of emails and phone calls from other moms. Especially when talking to moms who are just getting started with homeschooling or Montessori, I have often, often wished that instead of spending hours answering questions and offering suggestions, I could just hand them a tidy summary of all of my thoughts! And so, I have set my school plans on Lulu as "public" instead of "private" so anyone can access them. There's a fee, of course, Lulu is not free, and coil bound is more expensive than perfect bound. But for what it's worth, it's there. I would have paid an arm & a leg for these summaries 6 years ago - they would have saved me SO much time... ah, but that's wishful thinking.

Anyway, just wanted to let y'all know. Lulu is so easy to use, by the way, and reasonably priced if you or your kids have any projects they want to have printed and bound nicely!

Can we have a link? Is there a way to preview it?

What a fabulous idea!!! That might be a good idea just for personal use.

Jenn, you should be able to preview a few pages from the link above. Yes, it'd be cool if every homeschooling mom had her own curriculum in book form - and when you met up with another mom, you could compare notes.

Nice job! I looked at the preview.....now if you blogged about it and put pictures up! Actually, I love the simplicity of your book, very straightforward and thoughtful.....
Thanks for sharing!
