Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Wondering where you guys buy your paper. Handwriting paper, construction paper, that sort of thing. Any suggestions?

where ever I can find it cheap.

I often find the lined learning handwriting paper at my thrift shop for .10 a tablet

Notebooks I stocked up on at the back to school sales - .01 each. I got some construction paper then too on sale cheap.

I stock up when target has it on clearance at the end of back to school season each year.

Dickblick.com has good prices as well.

I watch the Sunday ads for Staples and places like that- often they will have specials on paper.

Paper is a nice thing to ask relatives for, too, for gifts... just explain how it gives your dc hours and hours of fun. Sometimes (can't believe I am admitting this) if my dc receive an inappropriate gift (dvds come to mind) I will return those and use the money to buy art/craft paper, which is always G-rated and gives them many more hours of creative fun than a movie.

I stock up at the Target clearance sale as well.

I have also asked for art supplies from grandparents.

And Melinda, I've done the same thing. We received a few DVDs at Christmas that were PG13- so not something I'm going to let my 2yo and 4yo watch! We exchanged for a few DVDs appropriate for them (I'd much rather we watch DVDs than regular television - when they're done they're done! There isn't the tease of whatever show is coming up next.)

How I wish some of you 4 ladies lived nearby! My dh is a printer and do we have paper!!! Check out a local full service printing co (not a quick copy shop) and ask if they have any paper that they were going to dump/recycle to give to you. I have huge rolls of paper, the butcher block type, sometimes in color, I am just now finishing up my last box of 8 1/2 x 11 paper (we were given 8 huge boxes) that the company was going to toss because a customer changed their mind about a job.

It is amazing what they toss.
