Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hi Moms~

Is there a specific order to the Five in a Row ?(I am specifically speaking about FIAR and not BFIAR or the series for older kids after FIAR. Is it best to start with #1...do they get progressively harder? Or is it randomized?

Thank you!

FIAR volumes don't nec. have to go in order.

With the ages of your dc, I'd recommend looking into Peak with Books!!! If your library has it, it would be worth continually checking out. It's pricey, so I don't actually own it, but it's pretty much at my house 9 months out of the year.

The actual "activities" and things to do in the FIAR volumes are for older kids....the 5-8 crowd, but reading through the BOOK helped me to learn about everything that is IN a children's picture book.....things to think about, talk about, etc. Same with Peak with Books. Peak with Books just seemed to have more do-able things for the younger crowd.

There are a couple archived threads here about Peak With Books.

No special order to worry about. If you can find it used, take whatever you can find. If you decide to purchase new, I believe Volume II has the most books to row per volume.

Never heard of Peak with Books, Suzanne. Thanks for the tip!
