Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hi,

AFter hunting around the internet, I am looking for recommendations on a good -tell you exactly how to do practical life skills book for ages 2-6. Pouring, spooning, walking. I was watching Katherines blog for awhile copying her pictures on Practical Life work, but I guess I need to do it on my own. Any suggestions? I need something really spelled out because otherwise past history says, I won't do it.

I would greatly appreciate the input because my carpet under the dining room table is getting stinky from all the milk spills. I am thinking that I failed in teaching practical life 101 for my 6 year old and rather than yell at her anymore, maybe I could use some Montessori wisdom.

I would start off here:MWEI Practical life albumand see if it meets your needs. If not, then there are others out there. Just give a yell and we can track down the links for you.

Thank you. I read the article printed it and examined your blog. This was the epiphany that I needed. Sometimes mom needs to be reminded that problems in the house and with the kids can be resolved by training instead of yelling.):
