Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I was trying to cut back on laminating, but I just don't like unlaminated three
part cards. The small sections of the cut cards tend to curl up at the edges even though I am using a medium weight card stock. I wonder if using a heavier weight would help that?

I did find a teachers workshop tyype store in a nearby town that I can join for a small fee and then be able to use their laminator. I wonder if that would help keep the cost down... I was trying to cut back on having all that plastic around, too, but I just like the look and feel of the laminated cards better.

I like to laminate too. For me the cheapest option is to use the Duck brand laminator I found at Walmart for around $25, and buy the laminator sheets in bulk at Sam's club. Actually my mom buys them, since she has a membership. But I'm sure there are online places to buy them too.
The teacher's store might end up being a deal, you'd have to guess how much you would laminate and see if it would be worth the membership fee.

I don't like the unlaminated versions either Melinda - the set I left *un* just isn't holding up. I haven't fired the laminator back up again yet, but I do have some more 3 part cards that I will start laminating again after Christmas.

BTW, I had terrible luck with the Duck laminator from Walmart and my 3 part cards. It works nicely if you're trying to laminate a piece of art that's 8 x 11 or so, but when you need to laminate several cards, mine leaves a small margin around the card unlaminated and thus it peels easily apart. I like the Xyron - no heat laminator which I got from Michaels.
