I've been patiently (well, not really ) waiting all day for our package to arrive from Adena. When we returned from soccer practice, there it was!

Okay, I have to say that on first inspection everything seemed to be packed nicely. The only thing wrong is that we received the zoology puzzles and rack instead of the botany cabinet. I guess I'll e-mail them tonight, and give them a call in the morning. Otherwise, I'm more than happy with my order. Shipped quickly and cheaply too!

Theresa, it was the botany leaf cabinet with insets. It's funny that they sent the zoology puzzles since I had asked here about them the other day.

I've been thinking tonight that since my dgs was so excited to see the big box and the goodies inside, I might as well see if I can just keep the puzzles and pay the difference. I don't think it should be a big problem to do that, and he'll be a happy camper having some neat things to work with.

I've been tossing up whether to order from Adena (they have really cheap postage to Australia - free for orders over $350) and Montessori Outlet (they seem to offer very good quality materials - postage is a bit dearer but offset by the sale prices ATM).

I can assume that you were happy with the quality offered by Adena?

I've been pleased so far with the quality of the materials I ordered. I just ordered a few things to kind of "test the waters" so to speak. I wanted to get an idea of quality before I invested quite a bit of money.

I have to say that the geo. solids and the box they came in are just beautiful!
