I just wanted to say that I am learning so much just through the board here, and express a "thank you" to everyone for the wealth of information supplied here.

I have gone back through the posts, even so far as to last year, and the amount of information is incredible! I am printing off the topics which I find helpful, and especially those with numerous replies. Those seem to include the most help to me. I am reading Montessori in the Classroom, and just received Teaching Montessori in the Home: The School Years, and what looks to be a great find posted about here--The Montessori Elementary Material - Vol. 2.

However, it's the discussion of how it works in your lives that truly brings it home to me and makes sense of all the readings in the books. Ya'll are such help with the applications of the principles described in the books!

I have a notebook full of resources now and I am referring to it daily in this journey toward bringing Montessori teaching into my home. To any other newbies like me--read back over the posts (all the way back to page 14!), and you will truly "discover gold". Eureka!

I agree totally. I came to this forum this year completely ignorant of Montessori and I feel like in a few months time I have been led by the hand through the jungle and come out the other side! Fantastic trail guides here!
