It felt like Christmas at our house. I just received my replaced items from Montessori Outlet and I am so tickled with the quality. The rods are all precise and measure just as they should - even the paint matches up rather nicely where the red and blue line up. I have the one metal inset that wasn't right and it is perfect now. My beads are just gorgeous, no warping at all now and they line up and sit in the box without shifting. They are truely gorgeous. The weigh bill was in my order just as I was told it would be, so I was able to simply ship back the other items that weren't quite up to par when I received my order and at no cost whatsoever to me. I must say that based on the customer service I received, once we understood each other, I am very, very happy. I'm looking forward to the rest of the things I ordered from them.

On top of that I did get my Alisons order. I guess when you go for price, and everybody is getting stuff from China there is a bit of quality control things regardless of where you order from - or maybe it is AL humidity, but there was some warping on some of the items I received. I spoke to them today and they are replacing what didn't meet my standards. The maps are gorgeous and seem to be quality wood. I'm very glad that I got these. My landforms are great. My children are getting very excited.

I guess I just have to be prepared for some item returns and replacements as long as I'm looking for bargain (well to me they are still pricey) prices.
