Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I just got this book from the library, and it's great! It is full of make-your-own Montessori ideas in all the subjects, including stencils, how to make your own furniture, materials lists by estimated cost (take into account however, that this was written in the 70's)--it's probably the neatest Montessori resource I've stumbled upon so far.

Unfortunately, the only copies I could find on amazon were WAY too expensive ($45!!), but I easily found this copy through inter-library loan. I have already started copying things into my notebook...I've got lots of work to do!!

I have this book and love it too! There are LOADS of ideas in here that are very practical and do-able...black and white photos in this simple book make it easier for me to understand how to use some of these things in even more applications....but then, maybe that is just me!

God love you!
