I noticed several of you in your blogs have said that your dc really like these nesting dolls, and I keep seeing them in Montessori catalogs.

I think my dd, who will be three in August, would really enjoy them- do the bigger kids like them, also?

I like them! We have one and all of my kids like it, too.
I plan on picking up some while in Alaska. There is a large Russian community there and the dolls are easy to come by.

We love them! My 2yo especially. I will say that I do have to be attentive to make sure that all the dolls go back together and put away properly, but he loves them!! The 6 yo loves them as well. Part of the lesson is making sure that the doll's design and dress match on tops and bottoms.

Are these the same as those we call babushka dolls? My dd still loves these and she turns 16 soon...oh and so do I. Not that we play with them exactly they just look so good!!

I ordered a set from Montessori and Such. I think they'd make a nice birthday gift for dd in August, and my mom was looking for gift ideas. I'm glad to know they have a wide appeal
