My two year old Michael has (like all children his age) a facination of us receiving Holy Communion - I don't think he can understand why he misses out I usually have to watch him carefully as he puts his hand out each time as I carry him and receive Holy Communion, giving Father a parting look as I go back to my pew.

Today, he must of cottoned onto how he thinks he can get around it - he put his little tongue out today!    These are so sweet and goregeous at this age, aren't they?

My Lucia has done this, too. When she did it, we were still carrying her as we went to receive Holy Communion, so Father saw her do it, too. He smiled wistfully and I think he was really sorry that he couldn't give our Lord to her!
