Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I'm still waiting for my normal 2nd trimester burst of energy to kick in. I'm nearly 24 weeks, I don't think it's coming. How am I going to remodel the house if it doesn't come?

Has anyone found this with more children? Or is it age that makes for a more tired pregnancy?

I can't tell you whether it's age or more children, but I noticed it was not there for the last two...maybe it's
God's way of telling you that it's pointless to remodel the house at this stage of the game .

I had the same experience as Elizabeth.... I was 36 and 40 with dss #6 and 7 and I just moved slower and slower as the pregnancies progressed. I still haven't got back up to speed. I think I'll remodel the house when #7 is old enough to help!!

i guess there is something to be said for a house that needs painting and old carpet. If I had a new house I would be stressed over it. As it is,I work hard to keep it clean but don't get upset over fingerprints, muddy tracks and 'artwork' on the walls.

I have to agree that with #6 on, I didn't get much of the 2nd trimester energy. I think that it was less of the age thing and more that there were more and more people to care for. Though I'm sure that age was a factor too.
