I recently came across two really good Youtube clips on modesty and self image. The first is a talk by Cameron Russell... it is really powerful the way she transforms herself on stage in six seconds.

Also, I really liked how she showed pictures of herself modeling alongside pictures of herself taken in ordinary life the same day or just a few weeks before. Her point was to show that what we see in the media is not only touched up but completely staged

Looks aren't everything

The second is a fun segment on how to make clothes modest

The first clip should be previewed by parents (just to be sure it's right for your daughter to watch). The second is good for a general audience.

Thanks Melinda, I sent that second one to my girls.. it's fun and short and doesn't belabor the points but I think there was a couple of ideas we haven't used.
