Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

And back off.. let Dad do most of the correction and instruction (I'm not talking about math here.. but in behavior). Oh and give "man-jobs" as chores as much as possible. They really step up to it. Especially, if you can ask them to do things that would be more difficult for you to do and so.. you don't do them anymore now that you have a "man-boy".

I receive weekly newsletters from Parenting Today's Teens. It's full of good reminders for me. The articles on that site are also excellent.

pray the 3 hail marys for his purity and holiness in the morning and night.

Keep him busy, teach him to work with his hands.

St Augustine said that for every one demon who is waiting to tempt a busy man there is a whole leigon of devils ready to tempt an idle man.

there are some great sermons on Audio Sancto on purity, I think young men need to start hearing holy straight forward men preach on this at the beginning of their teen years.

Teach him that someday he will need to sacrafice himself and his will for a family..teach him this starting today.

(sorry for the spelling errors, I am on my mac with out the mouse and cant correct my bad spelling!)
