We will dropping off my daughter in IN this week for a summer violin camp. Someone mentioned a religious shrine (I think) near Bloomington, IN that is a must visit.

We will take the whole family to Bloomington to pick her up in mid-July and would like to make a pilgrimage there.

Does anyone know what the name of the place was? I know where St. Meinrad is and this wasn't the place.

Any thoughts, anyone?

I would highly recommend visiting St. Meinrad Indiana if you can make further south from there. They also have a guest house if you need to stay overnight. :)

A quick google shows something called a Mother of the Redeemer Retreat Center in Bloomington Indiana...private revelations? not sure about that place though.

There is a shrine to St. Mother Theodore Guerin in St-Mary-of-the-Woods, IN.

It is about 1.5 hrs. from Bloomington.
