If Aristotle's Kid Had an iPod
Has anyone else read this book yet? It's a parenting/philosophy book written by Conor Gallagher - a philosophy professor at Belmont Abbey College and vp of St. Benedict Press/Tan Books. He is also a father of eight ( I think I read they homeschool but can't find a confirmation of that).
The subtitle is "Ancient Wisdom for Modern Parents." It brings Aristotelian philosophy to bear on raising kids in today's world. It is a great intro to philosophy and offers common sense parenting wisdom. It is an easy read and humorous as well. I am in the middle of it and really enjoying it.

I have been eyeing it, too...with my finger HOVERING over the buy it button!!!
This is probably the only little push I need to get it and just start reading! I'm very, very interested in his philosophy and the book overall.
Do you have it, Mary? Were you interested in starting a book discussion with this book?

I requested that my library buy it and they did! So I do have it right now. I just have a few more chapters to finish. Yes, I would be interested in having a book discussion if enough people wanted to.

FYI - I looked and amazon has it for kindle for $10.. a lot more doable at times than the $18 for the book.

I have it! I just finished reading it last week. LOVED it! It's definitely worth the $ for it.
