Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I had no idea how to title this but I want a REALLY creative way to tell the kids we are expecting another little one.

They have been praying so very hard for another sibling that I really want to surprise then.

Any ideas????

Oh and they are almost 12 dd, almost 10 dd, 6ds and 4ds

What if you ordered chinese food and replaced their fortune cookies with these? I have always wanted to do something like this, but can never find the patience to wait!

A friend on another forum just told her kids on Easter by giving them Easter eggs each containing one word of the sentence "We are having a baby" and made them figure out how to put it together. I thought that was really cute!!

You could have a meal with all baby items--baby carrots, baby peas, baby corn, baby back ribs, etc. and ask them to guess the theme.

A friend had a puzzle made out of her first u/s picture. Each kid got a small envelope of pieces and they had to work together to figure it out.

So we are telling the kids tonight and this is what we are doing,

I made iron on t shirts for each of them and this is what they say

DD 12: Big sister (again)
DD 10: Big Sister (again)
DS 6: Big brother (again)
DS 4: Promoted to Big Brother: Effective Dec. 2012

I saw a similar idea on etsy and changed it up for our family.

I can't wait to see their reaction.

They are thrilled!!!!!!!!!!!

My youngest DID NOT like his shirt! I didn't think about the fact that he can't read and had no idea why his siblings were making such a big deal about his shirt!

My daughters were absolutely giddy and still are!

My oldest son groggily woke up the next morning and came to cuddle with me in bed and asked, "Mom, are we really getting a baby or were you just kidding?" What kind of cruel Mom am I? I laughed and told him yes and he just cuddled in and said, "That is just awesome."
