Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Now, it could be because she still nurses once a day and she does have 3 older sisters who are in much better shape than me, but this is what she asked me this weekend:

"Mommy, why are your "nurses" so low? They're supposed to be high."

I guess this is what happens when you've been nursing on and off for 17 years. I think it might be time to wean her. This little girl keeps me laughing all day long.

Care to share any amusing conversations you've had with your little ones lately?

My 3 yo clled my "nurses" sippy cups (his way of saying it was "Bee-CAHS) when I used to nurse our twins.

My daughter(4) was choosing some lollies that she had received from her great aunt and said to me "I'll have the red and yellow BAKED BEANS" LOL!! I obviously haven't given her enough jelly beans in her lifetime!

And my 4 year old nephew recently referred to his mom's "nurses" as those pumps on her belly when she was nursing the baby - must have a "low" issue, too.

A friend was over one day and she was nursing her youngest. My daughter asked what she was doing "under that blanket," and I told her that she was feeding her baby. So she wanted to know if the baby was eating chicken nuggets!!!
