Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hello, I am new to the forum. My name is Celeste. I am wife to Jeff, mother to seven angels all under the age of 11 the youngest 19 m/o b/g twins. With this pregnancy I am seeking good faith filled material. I stumbled upon the "Apostolate of Holy Motherhood" recently and wondered if anyone has read it. This is my first ever hearing of it and I guess I want to make sure it's authentic? For lack of a better word. Thanks so much and God bless.

You posted right before the Sunday close so didn't have a chance to answer.

There are a couple past threads that may be of interest to you for background and opinions on the book. The book is based on private revelation to an anonymous mother in Ohio.

When looking at alleged private revelations some general background on the topic might be helpful for understanding and discernment.
Apparitions/Private Revelations - EWTN
Private Revelation - Catholic Answers

The book does have an imprimatur which only means that a bishop, his vicar, or a diocesan censor has reviewed the material and determined that there is nothing contrary to the faith. The alleged revelation does not contradict Church doctrine. An imprimatur is not a statement saying that the message came from a supernatural source. It doesn't mean the revelation is approved either.

This is a list of apparitions/revelations and their status with the Church. Not sure of its accuracy but it seems pretty complete and it indicates the Mariamante revelations have initial approval by the local bishop. .

Hello Mary and thanks so much for the information! I am a recent convert to the faith. It will be three years this coming Easter and I don't want to get into anything contrary to the Church's teaching. I will look into the information you posted. Again, thanks for your help.

Blessings,
Celeste
