Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

read more here

The recalls includes Children's Motrin, Infant drops, Children's Tylenol, Children's Zyrtec, Children's Benadryl. McNeil says it's more of a quality issue then a on the basis of any "adverse medical effects."

I just bought a bunch of this on sale last week too - are we to return it to the stores or the company or are we just out the items?

Am I reading it right that it's all name brands? not store brands?

I know I'm a bit behind, but when I first read this, I looked at a few of my bottles and had the NDC number confused with the Lot number. So at first I thought this didn't apply. Guess what? It's not the same. The NDC is the tiny little number above the medicine name that requires reading glasses to read. I never noticed it before.

I have to admit I couldn't find all my bottles of Motrin and Tylenol. We travel so much I have different stashes of meds for emergency purposes.

I stumbled across a few today, gathered all my meds up and found that all but my Benadryl fits the recall. (And I found 4 bottles of that all around the house.) I also found that I have several other expired meds floating around the house. Nothing like a recall to help you purge the medicine cabinet.

And I'm sure all the Zyrtec we've been taking probably fit the bill, too, but it's all been used.

But I can check this off the list, although now I need add to my list to refill my medicine cabinet.

It's frustrating.

I really should buy smaller containers of meds.. but the big ones are so much cheaper.. but then we don't end up using them. We just don't find a need for meds all that often.

I need to do a revamp of my first aid kit(s) go over 'em make replenish, purge, replace etc.

Yes, except for the allergy meds right now, we use these rarely, so it's easy to see how I can lose track.

Ds got an ear infection a few weeks ago. I had just come back from a trip and our meds were missing. I scoured the house at 3:00am to find something. It wasn't until right now that I realized that Tylenol expired in 2009. No wonder it didn't work quite as well. I promise I didn't have any other glaringly "dead" meds. Funny thing, it fits with the recall, except the expiration.

Anyone hear what we are to do with the med's on recall?
I sent an e-mail last week and have not received a reply.

You're supposed to dispose of them properly, but I am holding the bottles until I hear from them, so I can verify the information.

There is more info on herehttp://www.smarxtdisposal.net/.

Only the NDC numbers matter, mamalove. If your NDC numbers match, you should register what you have on the website linked.

The company sent me a check to reimburse me after I logged the meds that we had that had been recalled.

I also got a check after I sent an e-mail with the information they requested on their site.
