Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

We have some out door sporting events this weekend and I am considering getting some Under Armor shirts for my boys.

Few questions....
::Do generic "Under Armor's" work as well as the name brand? If so, are their any better generic brands (walmart, target, etc).
::Do the shirts need to be tight to keep them warm or is it just the extra layer that helps?

Thanks!!!
Betsy

I bought Target brand. It seemed to do its job.

we buy the C9 brand from target, the 12.99 long sleeve shirts. they should fit VERY tight.
thomas is 10 and weighs about 75 lb and I buy him a size Medium
second favorite brand is "layer 8" I have found this at TJ Maxx and Marshall's, and ebay.
lastly, I've twice found Underarmour at TJ Maxx/Marshall's, and also Nike.
all 4 brands seem to wear the same.
can you tell I've had to resupply four!! kids a bit more mid season this fall?
Thomas will be in a Nike tournament in Chicago this weekend, the HIGH should be low 40's- eek!

I have two in Under Armour. I don't know why they wear it tight, other than to prevent someone from being able to grab a handful, but then, their football jerseys are pretty tight. The lax ones are pretty loose. Hmmm.... no idea.

I need to check out TJ Maxx and Marshalls! We are looking for xl and xxl (adult.)

God Bless,

they're worn under the protective gear.. their "armour".. if it's loose under that it can get bunched up and be uncomfy.. also, it means more air space if it's loose and you have to warm up all that air space to stay warm.. less air space but some can keep you warmer than too much air space.
