Any recommendations for good slippersfor children? e have a no shoes inside policy at home and with the chillier weather am looking for some good slippers. My littlest ones wear Bobux (cheaper Target version). My kids used to have Lands End but they never stayed on their feet. I need something durable and non slippy that the boys would actually wear.
I read somewhere that warm feet meant fewer colds - so I am trying to dissuade them from bare feet on hard floors when it is cold.

My 4yo DD is currently wearing a pair of Minnetonka moccasins. They are so cute and really durable considering they are hand me downs from her 8yo cousin who wore them all the time. They aren't fuzzy inside, they are just moccasins, but she usually wears them with socks. I do think that Minnetonka sells moccasins that are slippers as well that are probably fuzzy inside.

Our Lands End slippers never lasted long. And, I'm not crazy about the design of their slippers this year.
There are some promising ones at Sierra Trading Post
A friend of mine always gets Acorn Slippers.
And, I was looking at the Girls Slippers at Zappos the other day. Here are the boys. They are so expensive! But as soon as I buy the cheapies at the regular stores, somehow they're uncomfortable, fall off or they wear out so fast!
Here are the LL Bean ones this year.
Can you tell dh has been hunting and I've been cyber-shopping?

I like the fleece ones with leather soles.. what are they called.. teddy pairs and polar pairs? they're by acorn.. they have a cuff so they stay on little feet well. (I usually get these at Sierra Trading Post.. Suzanne links above)
Bigger kids get slippers like mom and dad that have rubber soles that wrap up the foot a bit.. making it possible to walk on shoveled paths in slippers without getting wet for things like grabbing a bit of fire wood or taking out the trash.

My kids wore through Wesenjak slippers from Sierra Trading Post last year within a few weeks! I couldn't believe it. I even got a second pair for one child and she wore right through those too. They didn't wear them outside or anything, just wore them all day.
They were just the slip on, not the ones with the cuffs. My little guys have those, but didn't wear them enough to see if they would wear out.
I am not sure what I will do this year.

These my kids wear these a lot.. I put them in the washer and dryer periodically, and they get handed down.. usually the cuff gives up before anything else.
We have wood floors and so toes get cold without slippers.

I have a friend who swore by the Hanna Andersson mocs. I've been considering them for this year for the kids.
