Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hello

Socks seem to always get destroyed, disappear or separate. Our plan is to get lots at any one time all of the same colour - that way it's not hard to match socks.

It's new sock time. Even two pairs of socks worn don't cover up the mismatched holes.

Is there a good cost effective source for bulk socks? Tough socks? On line would be good.

Thanks

David and Lana

I do buy boys athletic socks in bulk at Costco. My girls mostly wear tights but I've been buying them their socks and tights at a store called H&M. They are more money but you can't kill them. You can even pass them down. I have no idea where a good inexpensive source of socks is.....

Can't wait to hear of one.

I bought a boxload of socks on eBay, they have a section for buying in large lots. You do have to be careful as you could end up with alot of infant socks so be sure you check carefully!

I would like to know where all the socks go to and how we can have alot of mismatched socks when my children are almost always barefoot?

Julie

We also went to eBay. Bought 6 dozen pairs of socks, consolidated the shipping and the cost was $42. Not a bad deal for so many socks.
Clare (4) was so happy that she put ion the pirple socks with her white dress straight away. I had to let everyone know that it wasn't her Dad's fault for the mismatch. :-)

Cheers

Thanks for the link! We go through socks pretty quickly over here, even though we only have 5 males in the house. I used to mend them, but I just can't keep up any more, and Tim and the boys find the mended spots to be lumpy and uncomfortable.

FYI, you can edit your post if you want to add a link or correct spelling or reword something. At the bottom of each of your posts is a row of small icons. Click on the edit button, make the changes, then click the update post button.

Thanks for the link for Parkland Socks! I just ordered lots of socks plus 24 white T-shirts. My oldest ds, just back from a deployment in Iraq said that all his socks and T-shirts were missing. Hmmmmmm, could it be his 16 year old brother?? So now there are lots of socks and T-shirts for all!!
