One of my closest friends is due with her 4th in about a week and I'm trying to think of a nice gift to give *her* after the baby is born.
I plan on taking dinner a couple of times, and a gift for the baby. However, she is a very dear friend and I'd love to celebrate by bringing a gift for her as well.
You'd think I'd be able come up with something, since I'm also on my 4th pregnancy, but this pregnancy brain is making me loopy and I just can't think of anything.
One idea I liked was a basket of special things such as chocolates, wine, nice cheese, etc for her and her husband. I don't know though...   
Any ideas?

I love the idea of a date night in a basket...I bring it to baby showers all the time...a bottle of wine, a pizza gift card, a movie rental gift card, and a box of brownie mix...with a how to note...put the kids to bed, sit on sofa with baby while hubby phones in pizza order, mixes up brownies and pours wine...snuggle and enjoy.

This is expensive....but I loved it when my grandmother sent a maid for an all day clean up! How refreshing! But it could be something a big group of friends could go in on!
