Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Can I use a Moby D for carrying the baby on my back? I've never been a baby wearer but have decided I really want to keep this little guy close. I know the regular Moby can be used on the back. Is it the same for the Moby D?

Well the mobywrap site's "hike hold" is demonstrated with a Moby-D.. I guess that means you can use it on your back?

Of course I didn't even think of checking their site!    Thank you!

Well I didn't check their site on purpose.. it just happened to be the site that my friend sent me to for using the stretchy wrap she made for me. It was nice that it turned out to be their site and the hold used the Moby-D

Now I'm thinking maybe I'll put my 2 yr old on my back for Stations of the Cross this Friday evening. I can hold the baby in arms easier than the toddler.. and I might be able to thread my sling through the wrap.

Martha - I find the ERGO the easiest for the back carry. I used the Moby a lot for the first few weeks and months - but invested in an ERGO and it is the best ever for back carry.

Re the Moby - if you can get someone who sells it to demonstrate it - it makes a huge difference - I am going to ask my friend that I bought it from to give me a little refresher!
