We had the thrill of seeing our little one on ultrasound for the first time today . The baby is doing fine - right size, good heartbeat and active - and judging from the way "she" (??) was posing for the camera we are guessing it is another girl .

As for me, at 13 weeks I'm coming out of the first trimester fog. The worst of the nausea has gone and I'm getting some energy back. Hopefully by Christmas I'll be feeling great. What a wonderful time of year to be looking forward to a new baby .

Yeah Kathryn! This is indeed wonderful news -- those first 13 weeks can be a real "pain"......

How esciting to see the ultrasound-- when I was in Austria and pregnant with JohnPaul, the ob had his own ultrasound and would let the kids come in and see their little brother as he developed. It really made a difference for Thomas and Maggie!

I'll keep you in my prayers....
