Help! I have nothing to wear after I have the baby. I am feeling a little dowdy and yuk - and I would so like to look like glowing mama when the baby arrives. I love dresses but just cannot find any smaller size ones. Has anyone got a source for smaller size nursing dresses etc - I am usually a 2P - am only 5ft 2"
Thanks for any help. I think Spring is in the air as I feel like I need a makeover!!

Marilyn, Nursing Mamas carries great dresses, I own quite a few (I purchased them over the course of a year.) The smalls run pretty small. I usually wear a small in Motherwear (or XS when they carried it!) and I prefer the Nursing Mamas dresses in medium.

expressiva has rather fashionable nursing clothes. My nursing clothes are usually more stylish than my regular wardrobe. I don't know about petites, but a lot of their stuff is a little more snug-fitting and so might work. I love their nursing openings, too. Very discreet. Their shirts come in 3 different lengths. I don't know about the dresses, though.

If you don't mind buying from overseas companiesMoms in Mind and Mothers en Vogue are both out of Singapore and so their sizing is considerably smaller than that of US companies.

I was thinking there must two kinds of nursing moms: those that use nursing clothes and those that don't. I've never owned any nursing tops or dresses. I just find easy access or two piece outfits and then use cover-ups like Bebe-au-lait or a blanket.
But then I have friends and family that swear by the nursing clothes.

Jenn, I agree with you - to an extent! :) The only reason I do nursing clothes is for dresses. Two pieces make me look 'clunky' post partum, dresses drape me much better, and they feel better on - no tightness around my waist.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I am going to check them out this week.
I have very few nursing clothes - just two expressiva tops that I mix and match with my skirts or capris. I just so miss wearing dresses - that's why I am looking. Also I am out so much more than I was with the older kids and those nursing tops at soccer/baseball games or music lessons are lifesavers.
Lisa - what is the length like on the nursing mamas dresses? Which specific ones do you have? I think you and I are similar sizes.
